Why is this project important?

Funding
- The 2018 Bond Program is expected to contribute up to $13.5 million.
- The City of Friendswood, Galveston County, and the Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District are expected to contribute up to $19 million through a partnership agreement.
Construction expected to begin Q1 2027
