Harris County Commissioners Court has taken the next step in the annual budget process for the Harris County Flood Control District, setting a public hearing for September 17, 2026.
During its September 8 meeting, Commissioners Court unanimously approved moving the Flood Control District’s proposed budget forward for public consideration. The action follows discussions and amendments to the proposed budget and allows the process to advance toward final adoption.
