Over the past several weeks, the Flood Control District has been hosting job fairs to connect with talented individuals ready to make a difference. These events are part of ongoing hiring outreach efforts to fill open positions across the Flood Control District.
Why is this important? Every position filled helps deliver meaningful flood risk reduction projects across Harris County. With more than 2,500 miles of bayous and channels and 23 watersheds to care for, we rely on dedicated people to help reduce the risk of flooding for families and neighborhoods.
